Discussion on the Feasibility of Deep Peak Regulation for Ultra-Supercritical Circulating Fluidized Bed Boiler

In order to meet the flexibility operation needs of coal-fired units under goal carbon peak and neutralization, it is imperative for circulating fluidized bed (CFB) participate in deep regulation. By systematically summarizing regulation practice existing SC subcritical-parameter-levels CFB units, feasibility technology an ultra-supercritical (USC) unit development being built analyzed demonstrated; meanwhile, capacity boiler also predicted. The results show that by analyzing structural characteristics design performance USC-CFB boiler, technical problems such as stable combustion low load, hydrodynamic safety, denitration wide rapid load change rate regulation, measures were implemented selecting advanced furnace type, adopting good secondary rising water wall uniformity temperature pressure, strengthening reducing atmosphere inside furnace, improving wear-resistant refractory materials, quickly controlling material stock variable optimizing control strategy unit, so on. achieved performance, pollutant emissions can steadily achieve ultra-low emission standards. When participates minimum reach 20~30% BMCR, a 30% BMCR or above could 1.5~2% BMCR/min, while below 1% BMCR/min. research provide references in-service supercritical (SC) optimization similar units.
